It is Spring! The birds are singing, and they need your help. I'll be participating in the Santa Clara Valley Audubon Society's Birdathon on Wednesday, April 13, 2022. Now in its 34th year, this annual fundraiser supports education programs including SCVAS' new high school Oak Savanna Community Science Project in the North Coyote Valley Conservation Area, and their Wetlands Discovery Program, which has been introducing gradeschoolers to our Baylands for the past 33 years. I'll be out birding all day with some expert birders, and we are sure to find and document many species here in the South Bay. Please support me and the birds with a donation to SCVAS! Thank you!
