Imagine Birdathon as being like to a bikathon or walkathon—a sponsor driven fundraiser for a charitable cause. In this case, we’re working to generate awareness and protect our local birds. We need your help! Like any runner or cyclist that participates in a pledge-based event, we’re doing what we love—for a cause we care about.

Your donations support SCVBA's education and conservation programs throughout the South Bay. We reach over 2,000 school children each year, fund our public drop-in birding events to engage the public, work with city governments to protect precious bird habitats, guide companies toward adopting bird-safe standards when they build office campuses. We also install nesting boxes and restore fragile habitats to create suitable areas for endangered birds.
