Spring Birding Marathon – Join Us for a Nature Walk! 🌸

It's the perfect time for a spring birdwatching adventure!
We lead a Mandarin Bilingual Birdathon Team, bringing together birding enthusiasts to celebrate spring migration.

Team 1: Sunol Regional Wilderness
🌿 Stunning natural landscape and rich wildlife
Join us on a scenic hike through breathtaking wilderness, where we may spot the magnificent Woodpecker**, the colorful merganser, and the iconic California Quail. Blooming wildflowers and a crystal-clear creek will accompany us for an unforgettable spring nature experience.
Trip Difficulty: up to participants

Meet location: Near Sunol Visitor Center. GPS (37.51594, -121.83216)
Facilities: ADA bathrooms and drinking fountains
Parking: Paved parking lot with several ADA spots. Daily entrance fee is $5 (credit card only). The parking fee is waived with a disabled person placard or plate.
Team 2: Vasona Lake County Park
🌼 Beginner-friendly urban park with a scenic lake and vintage train
Perfect for new birders! This charming urban oasis offers waterfowl and forest birds, set around a beautiful lake with a vintage train, perfect for photo ops. A relaxing, accessible way to enjoy spring birdwatching!

Directions: From CA-85 in Los Gatos, exit Winchester Blvd. Continue south for about 1.5 miles (Winchester Blvd becomes North Santa Cruz Ave) then turn left onto Blossom Hill Rd. The park entrance will be on your left in less than 0.5 miles. Latitude/Longitude: 37.235556, -121.973150
